Biafo Glacier

Located on the south-facing slopes of the Karakoram Range in the Baltistan and Ladakh, the Biafo glacier is 60 km in length. It is fed by small glaciers at different points. No vegetation is seen on this tract. The main stream of this glacier raises the Shigar River. Biafo Glacier is the third largest glacier in Karakoram Pakistan. Biafo Glacier is the third largest glacier in Karakoram Pakistan; it is one of the best treks in Karakoram Pakistan, because of impressive landscape from Askole Village to Nagar Village at a distance of 190 Km.
