Ladakh Festival

The seven day long festival is organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism to showcase Ladakhi culture, this festival plays a major role in promoting tourism and it is a heady cocktail of vibrant and colourful folk dances, music and theatre, polo and archery competitions. The carnival parade, which highlights the cultural and rich diversity of Ladakh, passes through Leh. Artists come with their art and handicraft items to participate in the fairs and are widely appreciated by tourists.
