DAY
01 : DELHI :
Arrival at New
Delhi. Welcome at the airport and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon
tour of Old Delhi. It is a 17th Century walled city with its splendid
gates, narrow alleys, the enourmous Bazar. Also visit Raj Ghat, the memorial
of Gandhi. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY
02 : DELHI - LEH : ( BY FLIGHT )
Morning breakfast
at the hotel and then transfer to airport to catch flight for Leh. On
arrival at Leh airport meeting with our representative and transfer to
hotel. Lunch at the hotel. Complete day free for rest to get acclimatize
with the high altitude in Leh ( Ladakh ) which is 3500 mtrs above sea
level. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY
03 : LEH :
Morning breakfast at the hotel and then visit Shankar Gompa on foot which
takes about half an hour. Afternoon visit King's Palace and Tsemp Gompa
from where you can have nice and beautiful pictures of Leh Bazaar. Dinner
and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY
04 : LEH- ALCHI- ULETOKPO ( 75 KMS ) :
Morning after breakfast leave for Uletokpo camping which is one of the
most beautiful camping in the Ladakh region on the way visit Spituk Monastery
which is just 5 kms from Leh town. Continue drive to Alchi monastery is
the only monastery in the Ladakh on flat ground. By the lunch time you
will reach Uletokpo. Evening enjoy to sit on the bank of river coming
down from the Ridzong side. Overnight stay at camp.
DAY
05 :ULETOKPO-LAMAYURU-LEH :
Leave Uletokpo and continue drive to Lamayuru via Khaltsi. From here another
22 Kms drive will take you to Lamayuru. The oldest and spectacularly set
Lamayuru monastery founded in the 10th Century. Visit the monastery. Late
afternoon drive back to Leh which will take about 4/5 hours. On the way
back stop at magnetic hill. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY
06 : LEH - KHARDONGLA PASS-LEH ( 85 KMS ) :
Morning breakfast at the hotel and then full day excursion to Khardongla
pass which is the highest motorable pass in the world 5600 Mtrs and has
been recorded in the Gunnies book of world records. At the Top enjoy the
nature beauty of snow capped mountain. In the evening back to the hotel.
Overnight stay.
DAY
07 : LEH - CHUMATHANG - TSOMORIRI ( 240 Kms ) :
Leave in the morning and drive to Chumathang stop at Upshi for check point.
Chumanthang is famous for medical hot spring & people visit to this place
for medical bath. On the way visit Sumdah village and another 55 Kms drive
will take you to Tsomoriri. The Lake is breading ground for numerous species
of birds. Chief among them are the bar headed goose, found in great numbers
, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck ( ruddy sheldranke ) and the brown
headed gull. The lake is 08 Kms. Wide and 28 Kms long. Overnight in tents.
DAY
08 :TSOMORIRI LAKE :
In the morning visit Korzok village with its houses and its Gompa appearing
like a mirage. The few barley fields at Korzok must be amoung the highest
cultivation in the world. In the afternoon visit around the lake. Dinner
and overnight stay in tents.
DAY
09 : TSOMORIRI - KORZOK- PUGA- TSOKAR- TANGLANGLA - LEH :
Drive to Mahe village and the road turns left from here towards puga valley.
The village is an unforgettable scene of shooting fountain and white clouds
hanging upon. This is Butan gas which Puga valley is famous. Continue
drive to Tsokar via Polokongka pass ( 13500 ft) and visit Tsokar ( small
lake ) and one can visit Thugke gomp. The place is famous for wild asses
are generally seen here grazing and they seem moving in flocks. From here
short drive and reach on national highway route ( Leh - Manali). Continue
drive towards to Leh via Tanglangla pass ( 5350 Mtrs) which is the second
highest motorable pass in the world. Arrival Leh in the evening. Overnight
stay at the hotel.

10 : LEH:
Day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

11 : LEH - DELHI :
Morning breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to airport to catch flight
for Delhi. On arrival meeting with our representative at the airport and
transfer to Hotel. Afternoon city tour of New Delhi which is in complete
contrast with Old Delhi with wide tree lined avenues,parks and fountains
surrounding the imposing Goverment and State Buildings. Visit Humayun's
Tomb, an observatory called Jantar Mantar, Qutub Minar, India Gate and
President House. Overnight stay.
DAY
12 : DEPARTURE :
Morning transfer to International airport to catch flight for onwards
destination.
